We offer a full handyman service for projects ranging from 1/2 day to multiple day work.  Below is general information about our handyman services.  Typically we can provide a ball park estimate on time and material costs with a brief item list and a couple photos.  Most small projects are extremely hard to estimate, so we typically work by the hour/day on these sorts of projects. After the initial inquiry, we ask for a list of the tasks you need done with accompanying photos (if possible) and we get you a rough idea on material cost, and direct you to one of the following two categories.

1⁄2 day rate - $435.00

  • - $435/day - this includes a trip to a home goods store and a disposal allowance for small projects.
  • - All materials will be an extra cost for your specific project (I will try to give a ballpark estimate for your material costs).  All small miscellaneous materials not purchased specifically for your project are included.
  • - Prices do not include permits, planning, design, or engineering. †
  • - If the project extends past 4 hours, additional labor will be assessed at $60/hr.

Full day rate - $675.00

  • - $675/day – this includes a trip to a home goods store and a disposal allowance for small projects.
  • - All materials will be an extra cost for your specific project (I will try to give a ballpark estimate for your material costs).  All small miscellaneous materials not purchased specifically for your project are included.
  • - Prices do not include permits, planning, design, or engineering. †
  • - If the project extends past 8 hours, additional labor will be assessed at $60/hr.

† Permits:

Should your project require a permit, additional estimating, planning, and costs are going to apply. If your project needs a permit this usually indicates the need for a site visit and a formal estimate crafted specifically for your project.  Read more about or formal estimation process under Start to Finish.

Notes:

  • - If your project doesn’t require a trip to the home goods store, or if you get the materials for your project, subtract $60 from the above rates.
  • - If your project doesn’t require the disposal of materials subtract $30 from the above rates.
  • - All mechanical trades must be performed by a licensed mechanical contractor (electrical, HVAC, and plumbing).
  • - If your project requires an estimate that cannot be done with photos over email, a $90 trip charge will be assessed for the additional time, travel, and planning.
There is a 1/2 day minimum for all handyman work.
